Catalyx Nescafe case study
The Result - We were able to give Nescafe the confidence to completely re-launch the packaging for their whole range, including Nescafe Original, Nescafe Gold and Nescafe Azera. This relaunch was executed in every market that sells Nescafe and is still in market today.
The Challenge - When Nescafe were updating their pack designs, there was absolutely no margin for error. Nescafe needed to get the launch right, first time. That’s why they trusted Catalyx to help them launch their new global design framework across the entire Nescafe Portfolio.
How we did it - We worked with Nestle as their key partner to ensure their packaging changes resonated with new consumers and ensured there would be no loss of existing consumers. As the expert in the room, part of our role was to run initial testing of pack designs over 4 global markets to surface the core drivers and barriers. Our Strategy team recommended how to optimise the pack designs and messaging based on our qual at quant scale combined data synthesis. After packaging was further optimised, we proceeded to extensive shelf testing of the final packs to ensure innovation success was predictable.
